“Our teen program was recently blessed by Pretty Me Bags. In each bag that they gifted to us were moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, edge control gel, a deep conditioner hair mask, a bonnet, an edge control brush, hair ties, and more!
When our teens saw that these self-care gift bags were for them, their faces lit up! They were overjoyed and you could tell by the looks on their faces, that they felt seen and valued by having these specific items for them.
By meeting the physical need of hygiene and hair care times, while also putting the detail into getting high-quality products geared towards our youth, our teens were able to feel noticed and important both physically (externally) and emotionally (internally) There is something to be said about being able to take a day to rest care well for your physical body, like styling your hair or putting a spa face mask on, that helps heal and restore yourself internally.
